"Songs for the Season" 
The Songs for the Season concert will feature Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday selections.The chorus will perform The Peaceable Kingdom by Randall Thompson, a complex composition with the ensemble divided into eight different sections. Several selections written by current composers
John Rutter, Hal Hopson, and Ennio Morricone will be presented. A beautiful piece
by Gordecki, Totus Tuus, was first performed in 1987 in a High Mass held by Pope John Paul II in Warsaw, Poland. Other pieces reach back in time to earlier centuries of music by Pachelbel and Handel. Favorites to be included are The Christmas Cantata by Pinkham and Vocalise by Rachmaninoff, which features the women's sections of the Choral Society.

This concert  will be directed by Julie Pierpont.

April 22, 2012  at 3:00 pm at the Cross in the Woods National Shrine in Indian River.  

“My Father's Love” 

This concert will be the world premiere of the completed work, My Father's Love,
commissioned by the LTCS, composed by Wendel Werner 
to commemorate the marquetry artistry of Ed Lantzer. All songs are based on the Biblical scenes portrayed in Mr. Lantzer's marquetry panels. The LTCS has performed the first in the series
My Father's Love: Birth at past concerts and at Mr.Lantzer's memorial service. The concert will feature a Powerpoint presentation of  Mr. Lantzer's marquetry panels during the performance.  The  LTCS also hopes to display one or two of the marquerty panels at the concert venues.

This concert  will be directed by Dr. Tim Hendrickson.
